Lightly burned dolomite, also known as caustic dolomite, is calcined from dolomite raw materials at about 1000°C. It has whiteness, strong adhesion, coagulation, and good fire resistance and heat insulation properties. It is suitable for interior and exterior wall coatings and is used in the building material industry. It can be used as an ingredient in cement, glass and ceramics. Lightly burned dolomite is mainly used in steelmaking, which can improve the fluidity of steel slag and be used as a slagging agent.
